Overview

  • Dry conditions, above average temperatures, and low relative humidity caused extremely critical wildfire danger across large portions of the Texas Panhandle.
  • Elevated-to-critical fire weather conditions are anticipated through the end of the week.
  • Do your part to ensure NO NEW STARTS: ready.gov/wildfires
  • Texans who sustained damage caused by wildfires are encouraged to report damage through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT).
