The State of Texas Incident Management Team (IMT) is a Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) asset, designed to bolster the operational capabilities of deployed Emergency Support Functions during incidents that impact the State of Texas.
By offering specialized incident support, the IMT ensures that the operational, logistical, and administrative needs of the incident are met, allowing them to focus on tactical incident management. This includes coordinating resources, managing information, and providing strategic direction across all functional sections of the response effort.
